Saturday's

OK I know not the greatest picture but it was taken with a camera phone because my camera that I really hate finally broke, while we were at the bowling alley. Not sure if I am happy or sad. New camera, NO money! Anyway back to the subject at hand. The family took a fun adventure to Starlight Lanes on Saturday. Before I get started I need to explain something so I don't sound like the worst mother of the year. I have always enjoyed doing things with my kids, but its great when your kids have reached an age when you really truly have fun. Ya know, the kind of fun you have instead of chasing them, yelling not to touch or break something, stop bugging each other and keep your hand to yourself, no spitting, stop screaming, you just wet potty, don't hide from me in this store fun, but real FUN. We laughed and had a great time. Aaron who has only bowled once before, scored a 135 OK I know we used bumpers but he did so well and as you can see he did better than Marc or I and we used the bumpers to. Doesn't say much for our bowling skills! I think we will definitely do this again. Zoe was so funny she had more fun dancing with her slippery bowling shoes on the wood floors than she did bowling, but she was a hoot. I LOVE Saturday's!

Aaron

All the Peach Plains kindergarten classes went to the pumpkin patch today. It was rainy and cold, but we had a good time. The kids had pumpkin doughnuts and a drink, they had a cute story were Aaron played the buzzy bee. We had a hay ride and Aaron got to pick out a pumpkin for him and for me. After Aaron rode home with me and we went for lunch. A fun morning just me and my buddy!

Pumpkins

Pumpkin Express

Tired Girl!

He was so happy he found his pumpkin.

Over the weekend the kids, mom, Amanda, and myself went to the Post Family Farm. Its a nice farm about 20mins from home. Aaron searched the entire pumpkin patch for the biggest pumpkins. Thinking that he would give up on finding the biggest one he could find I wasn't to worried until he came across a pumpkin that was heavier than he was. He was so proud and I was worried that I was going to have to take a loan to buy pumpkins! Needless to say I didn't need a loan and he was so happy. Zoe rode the pony, played games, and had her face painted. Aaron played on the hay and on the zip cord. They both rode the pumpkin express several times. We bought pumpkin doughnuts and root beer. I love fall...Well until it snows...

Apple Farm

On Saturday Zoe, Madison, Grandma, Amanda L. and myself went to the Lewis Farm Market in New Era to get apples and spent a fun filled afternoon just the girls. We went through the petting zoo were they had bunnies, goats, little ponies, donkeys, cows, and lama's. Zoe jumped on the huge jumping pillow and in the giant pumpkin. Zoe and Madison rode in the mini-train in the orchard. We took the apple express into the apple orchard. It was so bumpy we were concerned that Amanda would go into labor. At some points it was so bumpy that Zoe was even getting scared. We bought apple donuts, apple cider, and chips and had a little picnic. It was a great afternoon.

School Bus

Even though we live like 2 seconds away from school I have decided to let Aaron ride the bus home from school. So instead of picking him up and bringing him to Nana's. I wait at the house for 10min and then bring him to Nana's. He has been wanting to ride the bus with all his friends, and I really need to start to let go. He had fun he says it was really cool. My buddy looks so little yet so big getting off the school bus.

Today's the day...

Zoe's first day of school

Today was Zoe's first day of pre-school. I know I have said it before but my babies are growing so fast. I got the kids up today and told her that she had to get ready for school. She was so excited. Happy that she could finally go to school and happy that daddy took the morning off to see her to first day of school. She ate some breakfast, brushed her teeth and hair, and got dressed. All by herself (well a little help). Then when we pulled up to school my little baby said "I am a big girl Mommy you don't have to bring me into class I can do it myself I don't need your help"

After school laughing with daddy

Crazy Bounce

Marc & Adam boys will be boys :)

We went to Crazy Bounce for Noah's birthday. We had a blast two hours of running & jumping really makes the kids & Marc tired. I am trying to cherish all these moments with the kids because next year when they leave for Virginia birthday's are not going to be the same.

Remembering.....

Fire Fighter Prayer
When I am called to duty, God
whenever flames may rage,
Give me the strength to save some life
Whatever be its age.
Help me to embrace a little child
Before it’s too late,
Or some older person
from the horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert
And hear the weakest shout,
And quickly and efficiently to put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling
and give the best in me,
To guard my neighbor
And protect his property.
And if according to Your will
I have to lose my life,
Please bless with Your protecting hand
My children and my wife.
Lets remember those we lost, and not forget to
THANK
those who still fight for our lives.
Have you hugged your fireman today:)
I Have....
Much Love to you Marc

Back to School

Well its official summer is really over. Aaron started kindergarten this year. He didn't have a hard time at all leaving me or going to school. He went to Young Five's at Peach Plains last year. He is use to the school and the teachers. He has a few friends from class last year and a girl that was in his pre-school class with Ms. Eva at Central school in his new class. He is enjoying it. He really likes Mrs. Bauer and his new classroom. However, I on the other hand was a sobbing mommy. I know that they grown up but it seems like it has happened so fast. It seems like the last few months I have seen him changing, growing up. I have gone from laughing at the silly things he says to really laughing because he has a more grown up humor and he's just so darn funny! Really truly listening to what he is saying because he is really making sense now, its not the baby/toddler talk that he use to use. Then ya listen because he's your baby and he is just so darn special, ya just cherish the moments you have with him. Now he talks and carries on such a conversation with you. I'm not sure if any of this makes sense to all the readers out there. I guess I am just sad that my baby boy who I still feel like was just born is already in kindergarten, and I will probably just blink and he will be on his way to college :) Next week Zoe starts Pre-School. Ohhh, I am going to really be a mess!!

Michigan Adventure

We went to Michigan Adventure on Wednesday and had a great time. I had been promising the kids and Marc that we would go before they went back to school. I think that we picked the perfect day. It wasn't that busy at all. I think the longest line we stood in was about 15 mins. Perfect with the kids. Any longer than that and I might have gone nuts with the "Is it are turn yet!!" The weather was a nice 80 and sunny. We spent most of the time in the park and went over to the water park around 3:00. With the kids getting older. Marc and I both say it is so much fun taking them to do these kind of things. Zoe is finally tall enough to ride some of the bigger rides, and Aaron can go on some of the roller coasters. Next year Cedar Point here we come!
